Water Filtration Systems

Clean, safe drinking water for your family. Whole-house and point-of-use water filtration systems installed by licensed plumbers.

Northern California water quality varies significantly depending on whether you are on city water or a private well, and the age and condition of your plumbing. Hard water, chlorine taste, sediment, and well water contaminants are all common issues in our service area. Ameca Plumbing installs and services water filtration systems that solve these problems at the source.

Whole-House Water Filtration

A whole-house filtration system treats all the water entering your home at the point of entry. Every faucet, shower, washing machine, and dishwasher gets filtered water. These systems remove sediment, chlorine, volatile organic compounds, and other contaminants. They also protect your plumbing and appliances from mineral buildup and scale.

Water Softeners

Hard water is a widespread issue in Yolo and Solano counties. The calcium and magnesium in hard water leaves white buildup on fixtures, spots on dishes, and scale inside your water heater and pipes. A water softener uses ion exchange to remove these minerals, extending appliance lifespan, reducing soap usage, and eliminating buildup.

Reverse Osmosis Systems

For the highest level of drinking water purification, we install under-sink reverse osmosis (RO) systems. RO removes up to 99 percent of contaminants including lead, fluoride, arsenic, bacteria, and pharmaceutical traces. These systems include a dedicated faucet and storage tank and provide clean drinking water on demand.

Well Water Treatment

If your home uses a private well, you are responsible for your own water quality. We test well water for iron, manganese, nitrates, bacteria, and other contaminants common in Northern California groundwater. Based on the results, we design a treatment system that may combine sediment filtration, iron removal, UV disinfection, and softening.

Filter Maintenance & Replacement

Every filtration system needs regular filter changes to maintain performance. Most filters need replacement every 6 to 12 months depending on usage and water quality. We offer maintenance plans that include scheduled filter replacements, system checks, and water quality testing to keep your system running at peak performance.
